Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests. Your duties will include maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and performing laundry tasks. Duties
- Clean and maintain all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities.
- Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding clothes.
- Ensure all linens and towels are properly cleaned and replaced.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Ensure all floors are clean and well-maintained.
- Clean and organize the hotel's public spaces, including the lobby, hallways, and dining areas.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and free of clutter.
- Follow all safety and health protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the hotel management team.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning and custodial practices.
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to follow housekeeping management guidelines and protocols.
- Certification in housekeeping or laundry management is a plus.
