Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour, DOE

POSITION SUMMARY

A successful Warehouse Associate is responsible for transporting packages and other merchandise from the warehouse to different locations. Warehouse drivers strictly follow route sheets to avoid delays in the delivery . At a minimum, the position requires good organizational skills as this person will be doing inventory along with delivery of those items.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

•Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.

•Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

•Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from designated sites.

•Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.

•Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

•Provides quality service by following organization standards.

•Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.

•Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

•Completes reports by entering required information.

•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

•Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•At least one year of Forklift experience

•Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and record inventory intake

•Strong work ethic, leads by example and does what it takes to get the job done

•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various other software programs for data entry

•Ability to communicate with clarity at the frequencies required by management and customers

•Ability to travel to multiple sites as required

•Work independently with minimal supervision

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Must be 18 or older

•Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner

•Valid driver's license and excellent driving record

•Must be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and background check

•High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

•Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)

•Forklift experience

•Valid CDL
