Overview
This is an entry-level position within the distribution department of a bakery, sales center, or distribution center (DC). The role is essential to daily order fulfillment and truck loading operations.
Job Description
- Move stacks of product using pick-to-light or voice-activated systems
- Fill route orders and load/unload trucks
- Maintain food safety and food quality standards
- Follow all procedures in the Food Safety and Food Quality Plans
- Take proactive measures to prevent product integrity issues
- Participate in audits and compliance with SQF and 3rd-party standards
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stack/carry trays and push/pull product stacks
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality guidelines
