THE OPPORTUNITY

Staccato is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving & Kitting Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for handling incoming shipments, verifying deliveries, organizing inventory, and assembling kits for production or distribution. This role ensures accurate documentation, efficient workflow, and maintains a well-organized stockroom.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accept incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
  • Record and update inventory levels using warehouse management systems; ensure proper storage and labeling.
  • Pick, organize, and assemble parts, materials, and components into kits according to work orders or production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory adjustments, and kit assemblies.
  • Ensure all kits meet specified requirements and report any shortages or defects.
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or manage urgent requests.
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
  • 1+ years of specific experience as a receiving inspector is a plus but not required.
  • Handle ambiguity and was able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal to no direction.
  • Strong oral and written communication; understanding, interpreting, and explaining technical information.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Epicor is a plus.
  • Understanding traceability is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during the scheduled work day.
