To plan, organize, manage, and supervise all aspects of operations of the Killeen Animal Services. To ensure effective and efficient operations and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Supervision Exercised Directly supervises the Animal Shelter Managers in Killeen and Fort Hood and oversees supervision of all Animal Services personnel and volunteers. Essential Duties Responsible for ensuring the mental and physical health, well-being, and placement of all shelter animals, including maintaining a working relationship with local veterinarians and consulting with them on general and specific matters, as necessary. Organizes regular programs to meet the mission of the organization and the needs of the general public. Maintains the physical and security needs of the property of both animal shelters.
