About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dozer Operator to join our team in the Quarry industry. As a Dozer Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move materials, level terrain, and perform other construction-related tasks. Your work will be critical to ensuring the success of our projects and the safety of our team. You will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience operating heavy equipment, specifically dozers
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in heavy equipment operation
• Experience working in the quarry industry
• Experience operating other types of heavy equipment, such as excavators or bulldozers

Responsibilities:

• Operate dozers and other heavy equipment to move materials and level terrain
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8-12 hours/day).
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to hear instructions and warnings in a noisy environment.
