CGI is looking for a .NET Developer (Mid-Level) to join our Applications Development and Maintenance team, supporting our client's large number of COTS and custom applications, and working in an advanced technology environment.
While this position must be located within a commutable distance to one of our CGI offices in either Belton, TX (Preferred); Wausau, WI; Lafayette, LA; or Henderson, NV; a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module
Translate software requirements into workable web-based applications, including writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using .NET programming languages and development tools.
Write code according to specifications, Diagnose and fix bugs in conjunction with QA team
Participate in the following:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development as a software developer, developing Web Applications
Understanding of SDLC processes, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build and test automation, and release management
Experience with designing and developing applications using .NET development platform (C#, ASP.Net)
Demonstrated experience and understanding of Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Strong knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes
Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts. Database experience with either SQL Server (T-SQL) or MySQL
Working knowledge of Model-view-controller (MVC)
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:

Able to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision
Self-motivated performer with a desire to work on a project team, learning and developing software features
Experience with Java
Experience with ETL
Experience with Business Objects

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $139,300.00.
