The person in this role will work with a team of software engineers to provide development and support to Future Vertical Lift and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Operational Tests. The successful applicant will utilize the latest in software and simulation technologies to simulate, emulate, and test systems and components within an integrated test environment Duties: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Serve as a software engineer developing solutions for system/system-components Support all aspects of the defined Agile/Scrum software development process Work in a collaborative team of software/simulation engineers to provide M&S solutions for our government customers Coordinate software interface with Systems Engineering requirements activities Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (engineering, science, computer science/engineering or related) 2+ years of experience performing the duties described above. Experience in software development environments utilizing Agile methodology Experience writing software in Python, C# etc Understanding of network configuration, connections, and messages Active DoD Secret Clearance or U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance is required Desired Qualifications: Experience with distributed simulation protocols including DIS, TENA, and HLA Microsoft Blazor Framework preferred/ability to learn Experience in LVC (Live, Virtual, and Constructive) test and/or training environments Understanding of Git source control and various Git branching strategies Familiarity with DoD software and systems development Experience with Developmental or Operational Testing
