What Youll Do: Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the security-related needs of the healthcare location. Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Complete detailed incident reports and document observations, activities, and/or irregularities as required by site policies. Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols, including those specific to armed personnel, while maintaining a visible and approachable presence. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Level III Armed Certification Texas only. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
