Summary
The Sammons Grill, Golf Course Restaurant seeks a Food and Beverage Attendant to provide food and beverage service, wait tables and clean all service areas. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Greets customers, takes orders, picks up dishes, and cleaning tables
* Assists in food preparation and cooking
* Stocks, controls product inventory, and operates concessions area
* Serves food & beverages to customers
* Sanitizes high-touch surfaces; cleans dining room, food prep areas, grill, and kitchen equipment
* Assists with tournaments and private events
* Maintains accurate records of sales through the proper operation of the cash register and point of sale (POS) system
* Operates POS terminal to input customer orders, receives, and processes credit card or cash payments, and enters amount receive
* Adheres to attendance policy; ensures punctuality for assigned shift
* Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
* Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in food service operations
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
* Currently certified with TABC and Texas Food Handlers or the ability to become certified within 2 weeks of hire date
