M88 Field Service Technician

$29.13/hr plus OT

Overseas travel may be required

Special requirements: Active security clearance, or inactive status of less than two years, at least 3-4 years of M88 experience

Position Summary:

Seeking a Field Service Technician to provide field support for M88A2 HERCULES recovery platforms within the Field Service Department. The primary locations for this position are Ft. Cavazos, TX; Ft. Stewart, GA; Ft. Bliss, TX; and Ft. Lee, VA. The role requires willingness to travel within the continental United States (CONUS) and, if able, potentially overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide field service support for the M88A2 HERCULES recovery platform.
• Interpret and utilize technical data for operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of M88A2 recovery equipment.
• Interact professionally with both internal team members and external customers.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
• Use computer-based applications for data entry, report generation, and presentation of information.
• Analyze complex issues and deliver effective recommendations for solutions.
• Follow managerial direction and organize/prioritize work schedules (short-term and long-term).
• Adhere to all company ethical, safety, and behavioral policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in providing field service support on the M88/A2 HERCULES recovery platform.
• Understanding of technical data relevant to operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of M88A2 recovery equipment.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with a broad range of personnel and customers.
• Computer literacy for routine reporting and data management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex technical issues.
• Ability to follow direction and manage work scheduling effectively.
• 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience on tracked combat vehicles for the U.S. Army and/or Marine Corps.
• Experience operating and maintaining the M88A2 HERCULES recovery vehicle during the majority of those 4+ years.
• Honest, ethical, and dedicated professional demeanor.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from Recovery School is desired but not required.
• Honorable discharge if a former military servicemember.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military service is a plus but not required.
• Additional specialized training or certifications related to recovery equipment are beneficial.
