Oil States is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Quality Inspector I in Lampasas, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ensures products produced meet customer or in-house quality and specifications requirements. Identifies, records, evaluates and recommends solutions to quality problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspects in-process parts visually and dimensionally using required instruments.
• Inspects received materials visually and dimensionally through material test reports and certifications.
• Completes reports and related paperwork.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, algebra).
• Conversions of decimals to fractions and vice versa.
• Utilize blueprints, charts and graphs, customer drawings and specifications.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Extended walking, standing and/or sitting.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Must be able to work in temperatures over 100° F
