Job Responsibilities

Maintenance Technicians install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial or industrial machinery in a pet food manufacturing site. The technician ensures all machines function properly through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance services.

1. Own PM system for the area, focusing on Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Breakdown Elimination DMs and serves as the AM support DMS of the PM pillar.
2. Drives for results in Planned and Unplanned downtime and owns the area PM Compliance and Breakdown Elimination.
3. Build functional & technical skills of the AWTs.
4. Is the technical expert of related equipment and discuss, coach, and train technicians and operators on the area equipment.
5. Makes business decisions based on quantitative and qualitive data analysis.
6. Participates in the development of and own portions of the 90 Day Loss Elimination Plan.
7. Research areas of area improvement of area of responsibility.
8. Coordinates planned work with service contractors and reliability team.
9. Represents area maintenance at the daily FMOS meetings. Provides performance data for selected machines and communicates action plans.
10. 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

Associate Requirements
