The General Maintenance Worker shall perform tasks and program requirements in support of facility sustainment services (scheduled and unscheduled) on both residential grade and commercial/industrial grade installed building equipment and facilities.
Maintain key card systems and components, electronic locking mechanisms and replace batteries in electronic key card readers.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years field experience maintaining building systems and components such as electronic access devices associated with electronic card key locking mechanisms, key card systems and components.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Possess the skills and knowledge required to perform tasks in a facilities maintenance environment.
Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices used in the field.
Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.
Ability to care and use of the tools and equipment in the trades involved.
Experience in related shop mathematics and the interpretation and application of building plans, specifications, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches of all complexity.
