Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, devices, equipment, and components/liliInstall, repair, and maintain motor control centers, motor circuits, overloads, and disconnects/liliInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain generators, automatic transfer switches, and surge protection devices/liliInstall, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices/liliInstall grounding and lightning protection systems/liliPerform work from instructions using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics/liliInstall electrical components according to the current NEC code/liliInstall and troubleshoots commercial lighting, receptacles, panels, circuits, and controls/liliPerform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure an efficient and effective work environment/li/ulpstrongBasic Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate/lili3+ years of experience working as a licensed electrician/li/ulpstrongPreferred Skills and Experience:/strong/pulliAssociate degree/liliKnowledge and/or understanding of codes, rules, regulations, and standards of electrical equipment/liliKnowledge of 3 low and medium-voltage power distribution systems/liliUnderstanding of critical power and safety system design concepts/liliAbility to identify and implement efficient paths of action to finish the assigned work/liliAbility to exercise independent judgment/liliExperience with common trade hand and power tools and multimeters/liliDemonstrated ability to understand technical manuals, schematics, and reports/liliAbility to use precision measuring instruments/li/ulpstrongAdditional Requirements:/strong/pulliFlight hardware is typically built in tight quarters, and physical dexterity is required/liliMust be able to lift heavy objects, up to 25lbs unassisted/liliValid drivers license and a clean driving record/liliAbility to work at elevated heights, up to 200ft/liliTypically exposed to work in extreme outdoor environments heat, cold, rain/liliWork performed in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise/liliMust be available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required/li/ulpstrongITAR Requirements:/strong/pulliTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
