Are you interested in improving and shaping the delivery of IT projects? We're seeking a Solution Architect who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting large information technology projects for one of our clients, who is one of the top 10 largest electric companies in the U.S., headquartered in New York.
The Solution Architect will advise the PM/Program Director on the strategy that the vendor is proposing for the migration to M365. They will be required to communicate and collaborate with team members and project staff to plan, develop, and produce high-quality technical communication products in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, ensuring projects adhere to schedules and deadlines.
Location: This position is fully remote
Responsibilities include:

  • Writing security plans for critical applications
  • Meeting with subject-matter experts to gather information, and develop, organize, and write plans
  • Write technical specifications, and process documentation
  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience as a solution architect
  • Experience with previous M365 migrations
  • The ability to quickly learn, evaluate, analyze and understand complex topics
  • A natural desire to help people understand things that can be complicated
  • Ability to understand and accurately translate technical information for a general audience
  • Ability to write about highly technical subjects with
    • Clarity
    • Conciseness
    • Accessible document design
    • Audience recognition
    • Accuracy
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering
  • Past Utility experience preferred
Position Details:
  • Pay Rate / Range:$40-$46.50
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
