Position Overview

This role is ideal for a driven litigator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. As a Litigation Attorney at Shegerian & Associates, you will:

• Independently manage a dynamic caseload, directing strategy and execution from initial filing to trial verdict.
• Conduct depositions, including those of plaintiffs, witnesses, and expert witnesses, and draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment.
• Participate in trials and arbitrations, advocating persuasively to achieve justice for employees.
• Collaborate with senior litigators to develop compelling case narratives and effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout their legal journey.

Who We're Looking For

We seek an attorney with the tenacity to litigate aggressively and the passion to fight for employee rights. The ideal candidate will possess:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and California Bar admission (required).
• 2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment law expertise.
• Substantial courtroom exposure, including taking and defending depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Strategic Advocacy Skills: Ability to craft persuasive arguments and present complex legal issues with clarity.
• Self-Motivation & Initiative: Capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
