Position Summary:
Seeking reliable individuals for Fire Watch coverage at apartment communities when their fire alarm systems are down. This temporary role is essential for safety and compliance, requiring you to oversee the property, monitor for fires, keep a detailed log, and report any emergencies while alarms are offline.
Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor designated property areas for any signs of fire or hazards
• Maintain a detailed fire watch log and document all observations and activities
• Immediately report any fire or emergency to property management and emergency services
• Remain alert and attentive throughout your assigned shift
• Follow all property safety protocols and instructions from management
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property staff and residents as needed

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to remain alert for the entire shift
• bility to complete accurate written logs and follow reporting procedures
• Previous experience in security, fire watch, or property oversight preferred but not required
• bility to work either 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM shifts (indicate shift preference when applying)
• Khaki pants or blue jeans and a solid color shirt required
• Two forms of ID required for employment
• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Due to the nature of this position and the apartment industry, candidates with convictions for violent crimes, theft, sex offenses, or other crimes involving dishonesty or harm to others will not be considered. All background checks are evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable laws.
