CORE COMPETENCIES: Operates trucks of various sizes and weighs in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipment, materials, and supplies Operates a variety of contractors equipment and trucks utilized in construction maintenance and repair activities Operates small equipment and tools to maintain streets Prepares concrete for curbs and gutters Rakes Asphalt Places and finishes concrete Places and applies traffic control devices Controls traffic at work sites by flagging to guide traffic through work areas, as required or assigned. Maintains records of materials and equipment necessary to complete jobs. Operates radio for communications between self and other workers. Secures and maintains vehicle and area at the end of the working day. Conducts safety and maintenance checks on equipment and machinery as needed per job.
