Job Details

To perform a variety of tasks in street, drainage and right-of-way maintenance. Essential Duties: CORE COMPETENCIES: Sets forms and string lines. Pours and finishes concrete. Clears debris from drainage ditches, curbs and gutters. Inspects streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, alleys and approach ways for needed repairs. Spreads and unloads asphalt to repair minor damage. Conducts safety and maintenance checks on equipment and machinery. Operates a variety of street repair equipment. Sets flagging and road barricades; directs traffic in congested areas. Performs minor repairs on small equipment. Loads and unloads trucks of construction materials. Applies and / or assists with the application of pavement marking. Applies and / or assists with the application / installation of Traffic Control devices.
