SUMMARY

The Part-Time Shift Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the Store Leadership Team in the manager's absence on the sales floor. Main responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring outstanding customer engagement, and driving sales. The Shift Supervisor embodies the brand, maintains professionalism, interacts with customers, upholds store standards, and fosters teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy packages and boxes routinely throughout a shift
• Must reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry products for customer service, inventory, and merchandising tasks
• Capability to stand/walk for extended periods
• Must lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Regularly perform cleaning and maintenance duties
• Ability to use ladders and step stools
• Capable of repetitive tasks (i.e., hanging, folding, ringing up customers)
• Use caution when interacting with challenging customers and avoid confrontations
• Work environment noise level varies from moderate to loud
• Adult content environment
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years

Responsibilities

• Assist management in maximizing sales by being a constant presence on the sales floor and energizing the team while ensuring brand integrity
• Hold store keys for opening and closing the store as necessary
• Prioritize customer service and collaborate with Sales Associates to meet sales goals and KPIs
• Coordinate staff breaks and ensure coverage of all areas
• Provide feedback, coaching, and guidance regarding customer engagement and sales etiquette
• Help maintain merchandise presentation and store displays
• Report performance issues to the Store Manager
• Inspire and motivate associates to foster a positive store environment for customers and staff
• Contribute to store security measures, including checking bags and monitoring fitting rooms
• Ensure that staff are treated with respect and professionalism
• Process returns/exchanges, authorize discounts, and manage employee sales in the absence of a manager
• Comply with all Loss Prevention policies
• Understand inventory management procedures
• Represent the company positively and professionally
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of key holder experience in retail preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) required
• Commitment to two closing shifts per week, including one weekend closing
• Ability to use retail POS systems and inventory scanners
• Capable of making change accurately
• Ability to execute detailed tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships
• Complete the three-month Shift Supervisor training program
