Performs a variety of complex professional and administrative work in planning, developing, scheduling, directing, and implementing library services on-site, on-line and throughout the community. The employee will have the responsibility of: ? Exercising direct supervision over Circulation, Reference, and Childrens Services staff ? Managing and supervising assigned operations to achieve goals within available resources ? Gathering, interpreting, and preparing data for studies, reports, and recommendations ? Implementation the 5-Year Strategic Plan ? Coordinating department activities with other departments and agencies as needed ? Assuring that assigned areas of responsibility are performed within budget, performing cost control activities ? Establishing and maintaining cordial working relationships with other City divisions and departments, providing support for research and informational needs ?
