Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major defense vehicle program in Temple, Texas. This role will be responsible for managing vehicle and hardware deliveries, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with technical requirements while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will oversee program activities related to post-production vehicle integration efforts and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives. This role requires strong leadership, project planning, and communication skills to manage complex production and integration activities. Support program execution to achieve cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives while maintaining high customer satisfaction Provide program direction and coordinate with matrixed teams including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Contracts, and Finance Manage program complexities involving multiple production and integration elements Plan and manage activities on the current contract while identifying and mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities Make timely and ethical decisions in compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures Continuously improve project performance by capturing and applying lessons learned Present project status, risks, and recommendations to program teams and senior leadership Develop and maintain program and project plans including goals, staffing, scheduling, risk identification, contingency planning, and resource allocation Lead cross-functional teams in a high tempo environment spanning multiple sites and suppliers Maintain program schedules that consolidate multiple projects across contracts Manage the flow of vehicles and hardware into the facility to support on-time contract deliveries Serve as a primary point of contact with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders across multiple time zones Ensure projects meet financial commitments including orders, sales, profit, and cash objectives Identify performance gaps to customer expectations or program objectives and implement improvement plans Ensure completion of deliverables and on-time delivery of program milestones Required Skills Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience Ability to manage and report project schedules and budgets Experience presenting project status to internal and external leadership Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage high volume workloads Experience with project planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling processes Preferred Skills Master's degree and 7 years of experience Project Management certification such as PMP or PgMP Experience with Earned Value Management Benefits: Health Insurance 401k Pay Range: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
