US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Takes and records vital signs reporting deviations to a senior member of the health care team; Obtains blood and other specimens, provides appropriate labeling, and completes lab/X ray forms; Transports patients via wheelchair/stretcher to wards, clinics, X ray etc; Assists physician/physician assistant with procedures by handling instruments and supplies; Treats wounds, irrigates area, and applies dressing and bandages to wounds
