Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter for a temporary full-time position on an exterior single-story remodel project at Ft. Hood. This role focuses on aluminum framing systems (not wood) and supporting the installation of a new curtain wall system, working closely alongside experienced glaziers.

Position Overview

• Assist with removal and installation of aluminum curtain wall systems
• Work directly with glaziers during glass installation
• Help maneuver and set glass panels weighing up to 200 lbs (with proper equipment and team support)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all jobsite safety and access protocols

Required Qualifications

• Carpentry or related construction experience (aluminum framing experience preferred)
• Ability to safely assist with heavy material handling
• Clean background required for Ft. Hood jobsite access
• Punctual and dependable
• Comfortable using a mobile phone to clock in and out
• Must provide own PPE (hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.)

Preferred (Plus) Qualifications

• 4-Hour Safety / Fall Protection Certification

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday
• 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Evening/Night Shift)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $22/hour
