Position: Product Owner/Scrum Master - Digital Experience

Type: 12 Month contract

Location: Ideal candidate is in central Texas (Austin to Dallas) and will work a hybrid schedule

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic professional to perform a dual role as Product Owner and Scrum Master supporting a customer-facing digital product. This position requires a blend of product ownership, agile leadership, and technical understanding in web or mobile application delivery

Core Requirements:

• Experience handling both Product Owner and Scrum Master responsibilities
• Strong background in digital product delivery (web/mobile applications)
• Bachelor's degree required
• Preferred Certifications:
• Product Owner: CSPO, PSPO
• Scrum Master: CSM, PSM

Product Ownership Responsibilities:

• Act as the voice of the customer, understanding user needs, pain points, and business objectives
• Define and manage product backlog and sprint priorities
• Develop and refine user stories through continuous stakeholder interaction
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to align sprint goals with product vision
• Present product enhancements to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into future iterations

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Champion Agile and Lean practices, fostering a high-performing team environment
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Act as a bridge between Product Owner and engineering teams
• Coach team members on Agile best practices and ensure continuous improvement
• Identify and remove impediments to maintain delivery momentum
