Duties and Responsibilities:
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
Be at least 21 years of age; have no disqualifying criminal history; have no criminal history as described in 344.410(a) unless TJJD has reviewed it and determined the person is not ineligible for certification due to the criminal history; have acquired a high school diploma or its equivalent as specified in TAC344.204; never have had any type of certification revoked by TJJD; complete the training required by TAC344; and pass the certification exam to be completed after employment.
