Ryder is Now Hiring Local CDL-A Truck Drivers in Elgin, TX

Average Up to $1,750 per Week - Get Home Daily

Top Pay & Incentives:

• Average $1,450 - $1,750 per week
• Solo miles pay: $0.67 per mile
• Solo stops pay: $21.79 per stop
• Up to $3,400 in bonuses
• Paid weekly
• Paid training

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Local route - Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, and two Saturdays a month
• Start time: 4:00 AM dispatch
• Deliver SOLO To: Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Temple and Dallas
• Tractor Type: Day cab
• Trailer Type: Flat bed
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch – Brick and building materials strapping no tarping

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Over the road and high-touch freight experience required
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
