Serve as the Government Accountable Officer for Ammunition Supply Point services which include receipt, storage, issue, shipment and accountability for the installation's Class V supplies (ammunition, explosives, missiles/rockets and residue).
Manage and account for the assigned ammunition, associated materiel, and Army Support Activity Stock Record Account records.
Ensure all munitions stocks (including related components and packing materials/residue generated during the consumption of munitions) are properly accounted for and maintained.
Monitor Ammunition Supply Point personnel to ensure forecasted training ammunition, munitions, and operational loads are requisitioned, received, stored, issued, retrograded, and processed.
Approve or disapprove issue of ammunition; and certify residue is explosive free and determine destination.
Determine resource requirements (financial and manpower) and materials necessary to accomplish long-range work schedules.
Analyze work plans and monitor the status of their work in relation to the overall schedule requirements, including unanticipated or emergency requirements.
Maintain 100% adherence to Army physical security regulations, safeguarding all Class V munitions and associated materiel.
