DutiesHelpOperate a forklift capable of lifting loads weighing up to 10,000 pounds to load, unload, and move material over various surfaces.Receive, examine and determine the condition and disposition of a wide variety of materials.Interpret procedures, technical manuals, and equipment drawings to verify equipment classification.Knowledge to interpret general warehousing plans for stock in storage areas.Assure items to be shipped/issued are properly marked, tagged and/or properly over packed in suitable containers.Follow general safety practices in operating equipment and performs operator's maintenance on equipment.
