This opportunity is based on a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job dutiesVerify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or manifests for accuracy in quantity, quality, and condition.Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, creating bills of lading, and coordinating with carriers.Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and resolve issues with suppliers or internal teams.Perform cycle counts, data entry, and generate shipping/receiving reports as needed.Load and unload trucks safely (forklift experience preferred).Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards (OSHA), and quality procedures.Keep the work area clean and organized through 5S practices.Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsExperience receiving, storing, picking, packing, or shipping products in a warehouse environment.Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following company procedures.Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and inventory accuracy.1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (SRO or equivalent preferred).
